Closing Event with the Deans

Participants must also attend at least five GW events, workshops or programs of their choosing in five different dimensions of well-being.

In groups, participants will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in designing a well-being program, workshop, or event relating to a dimension of their choosing. This will include outlining:

  • Goals and objectives for the initiative
  • An evaluation plan
  • Event logistics and budget
  • A marketing and promotion plan
  • A run-of-show document

At the closing event with the deans on April 13, each group will get to share their well-being program with Dean Petty and Senior Associate Dean Coleman.

Program Participant, 2020-2021

[This program] has taught me to look at well-being holistically. I now regularly check in with myself to ensure that I am growing in the eight different dimensions of well-being — especially the dimensions I did not consider before...I highly recommend participating in this program if you have an interest in learning about well-being and would like to have an impact on the GW community!

Applications open every fall semester. Both undergraduate and graduate students are encouraged to apply.. The program is intended to be completed over two consecutive semesters.
