The CARE Team often collaborates with other campus offices and their resources. Below are some of the campus partners and resources we often refer students to as forms of support. Please feel free to review their descriptions and other appropriate information below.

Graduate Advising

- Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS)

CAPS is the GW student counseling center. This is a safe, non-judgmental, and confidential counseling resource for students in need of mental health or personal development support when facing academic, emotional, or personal success challenges.

OAS is a campus resource providing trauma-informed and healing-centered confidential support to GW students impacted by sexual violence, relationship violence, and/or stalking.

CLRE are our campus partners who are passionate and student-centered professionals dedicated to supporting students' learning through fostering vibrant residential communities.

- The Store

A GW community resource that provides perishable/non-perishable groceries, school supplies, professional attire, hygiene products, and more. The Store is located on both Foggy Bottom and Mount Vernon Campus.

Academic Commons is a "one-stop shop" for academic resources and services across the university.

- Laptop Loaner Program

The Office for Student Success operates a laptop loaner program for students who may temporarily need a laptop. OSS are at limited capacity for laptops and may not be able to accomodate for the request immediately.

Center for Career Services offers comprehensive career development, experential education, student employment services and resources for GW degree-seeking students, alumni and international exchange students.

Campus Recreation provides programming in the areas of intramural and club sports, fitness and wellness instruction, and informal recreational opportunities.

The Raise High Folder is a faculty/staff guide with additional information on supporting students' wellbeing. The document contains information on observing and communicating with students in distress and what campus resources may be available to them. - REACH Program

This program is designed for GW Faculty and Staff to have the opportunity to engage in workshops that will provide information about student well-being trends, availability of services, and how to make appropriate referrals to those services.
