GW's Response to COVID-19
January 12 Update: The George Washington University will resume in-person classes and activities in support of the university’s academic mission on Tuesday, January 18. We will continue to limit some in-person activity on our campuses until January 31.
Our campus operations continue to be guided by our commitment to the health and safety of the GW community. Learn more about how we are moving onward. For information and resources on COVID-19, visit the CDC’s website.
King Week celebrates the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. annually from January 15 through January 31. GW faculty, staff, students, and alumni contribute exciting, thought-provoking, historic, and inspiring programming to the community. We strive to honor King's life from early childhood through the spirit of the civil rights movement.
Programs include special faculty lectures, live music and narrative, the recitation of King's work, service events, social justice initiatives, and more.
