Purpose of Raise Up GW
To be well at the George Washington University is to honor the dynamic process of change and growth that involves building resilience, persistence, and positivity in the face of challenges. Raise Up GW is our initiative dedicated to helping students engage in a comprehensive well-being experience across campus in eight dimensions of well-being:
Promote your Event
There are three ways you can promote your event as part of Raise Up GW:
- Include the Raise Up GW logos and icons in your marketing materials
- Add Raise Up GW as a cohost on Engage
- Tag your event on the University Calendar
1. Include the Raise Up GW logos and icons in your marketing materials.
You can use the Raise Up GW logo and the three most relevant well-being dimension icons in your marketing materials to indicate that your program or event relates to well-being. The examples below show events that pertain to physical and social well-being and utilize the appropriate icons.
2. Add Raise Up GW as a cohost on Engage.
You can add Raise Up GW as a co-host when you add your event or program to Engage. You can also add the three most relevant well-being dimensions in your event description.
3. Tag your event on the University Calendar.
You can tag your event in the University Calendar with the Raise Up GW tag.
This will allow your event to be featured in the event feed at the bottom of the Raise Up GW main page.

The individual dimension icons come in colors, white, and buff.
