Campus Recreation
With a wide variety of classes to choose from, GW Group Fitness will help you stay motivated, increase energy levels, and have more fun with your workouts.
Intramural sports enable students to reap the health and wellness benefits of athletic competition. Club sports are registered student organizations established by students who are motivated by a common interest to participate in a specific sport.

Call (202) 994-5300 to make a telehealth appointment regarding psychiatric services with the Student Health Center.
GW students now have access to expanded telehealth through our partnership with AcademicLiveCare (ALC) featuring additional counseling services, urgent medical care, therapy, and psychiatry appointments at no cost to full-time GW students. ALC complements the services provided through the Student Health Center by virtually connecting students to available clinicians at their convenience using a smartphone, tablet, or computer. More details about how the program works are on the Health Center website.
The Store, GW's Food Pantry
Sign up to access The Store, GW's student-run food pantry. The Store provides resources and support for students living with food insecurity, including pantry staples, interview clothing, toiletries, menstrual hygiene products, school supplies, and more. All GW students may sign up to receive access.
Dining Services
At GW, learning is not limited to the classroom. We take full advantage of all that our city has to offer, including D.C.’s vibrant food scene. Our dining experience gives students access to food and groceries from more than 80 GW Dining Partners located both on- and off-campus, with our off-campus dining partners concentrated in our nearby Foggy Bottom/West End neighborhoods for quick and easy convenience to campus. Designed to fit the busy lifestyle of GW students, GW dining supports myriad dietary preferences by providing healthy foods and convenience.
Contraceptives & Wellness Vending Machine
GW students now have access to a contraceptive and wellness supply vending machine. The machine dispenses Plan B, Tylenol, Advil and tampons for students at a reduced price and is located on the ground floor of the University Student Center near the GWorld Card Office.
