Trails Trips 2

Trails trips will continue to be offered throughout the spring semester for students on-campus and in the local D.C. area. Social distancing and COVID-19 measures are vital to ensure the safety of everyone on Trails trips. Wearing face coverings, keeping six-feet of distance, reducing the number of people travelling to 10 per group, and not sharing food or items is required for all Trails trips. New trails trips are posted every month!

D.C. Travel Guidance

If you have recently travelled outside of the DMV (D.C., Maryland, & Virginia) please follow the updated travel requirements before attending a Trails trip.

Land Acknowledgement

Related to GW's mission of supporting and fostering learning, we would like to acknowledge that the land we organize trips to stands on Piscataway and Nacotchtank (Anacostan) land. We acknowledge the painful history of genocide and forced removal from this territory, and we honor and respect the many diverse Indigenous peoples still connected to this land on which we gather. Visit this resource to learn more about land acknowledgement.
