Incoming new students should complete the required Pre-Orientation Online Module (POOM) before arriving on campus and participating in Orientation. Students need their UserID and password to access the POOM.
Students should complete all sections of the POOM prior to attending Fall Orientation.
- Part 1: Academic Advising & Registration opens May 1, closed June 15
- Part 2: Student & Academic Support opens June 17, closes July 19
- Part 3: Arriving at GW opens July 22, closes August 13
Students will receive an emails with information about the POOM and notifying them when each part of the POOM is open. Students will be reminded before the closing date if they have not yet completed a section of the POOM.
